About the CMI

Created in 2009, the CMI supports international students, PhD students and researchers enrolled in higher education in Rennes at CMI member institutions (including Rennes 2 University).

It assists them with everyday formalities related to settling in France, such as residence permits, accommodation, transport, health, banking and telephone services, and offers a rich programme of events and cultural activities throughout the year to help them integrate into local life. Each year, around 7,500 international students are welcomed in Rennes.
